Where do these wires go?
Ive got a 93 ezgo....whenever you press the pedal to the floor it stalls. I noticed there was a little black wire that looked cut dangling today. The highlighted wires in my attachment are what im trying to figure out. These two wires are small little wires and this diagram is showing them going to the battery.... Is that correct? Does anyone have an actual picture of these wires so I can, becuz we just bought it and I dont knnow if the previous owner wired it wrong or something. Thanks.

There is no picture. We can't see what wires you are speaking of.

Re: Where do these wires go?
Well my picture didn't upload but if you look at the wiring diagram of the 89-94 ezgo with the curtis 1204 controller its the little thing that looks like a wheel under the A2 icon.
Heres my picture that didnt upload. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/4/dfdy.png/ |

Re: Where do these wires go?
Also in reverse I am getting 0 to 3.6k ohm from the pot, in forward if i press the throttle all the way I get 25 k ohms. The problem is if i press the pedal all the way down it wont move, but at half it goes but it is slow. I have read that the ohms are to high on forward but don't know how to adjust it. If I adjust the linkage for that will the ohms mess up in reverse? The red wire is going to the double micro switch and the black wire is just loose/broken. I have been looking through the forums and could this be a buzzer of some kind? If so does it need to be hooked up?

Welcome to BGW
Not sure what Colt means in his post, but that is your reverse buzzer and I don't know why they ran those wires that way, |

Re: Where do these wires go?
Adjusting the pot for correct output will make the cart operate correctly in BOTH directions. Direction is controlled by POLARITY on a DC motor, and polarity is controlled within the F/R assembly on your series cart.
And, Welcome to BGW! |
