Trojan techs gave me a chart when I asked about deep versus shallow discharge of GC battery packs. The chart shows their battery can take 700 deep discharges............. or 5000 shallow discharges.
Lets say a shallow discharge is done once a day. You can recharge daily for 13.69 years. Lets call the deep discharge a week's worth of use. According to the chart you can recharge once a week for 13.46 years. BUT. That doesn't take into account that your batteries sit in a state of discharge for 5 days a week letting sulfates permanently attach themselves to the plates decreasing the plates ability to store amperage... |
