For my carts I run Lucas 85w-140...that is really heavy though I wouldn't recommend this for a pds or regen cart but a series cart its perfect...

IC, I have a ParCar and I recently change the oil and it's smoking. It wasn't smoking prior to the change.
Do you think I changed to a heavier oil, that it will help the decrease the smoke? |

are you referring to a gas cart and its smoking...or an electric cart smoking from rear as this post was talking about?

man, I hope he is talking about a gas cart.! I drove mine around some last night and put a piece of white cardboard under it. This morning, there weren't any drips from the differential, but it did look like some fluid where the pan meets the housing. I see they make a gasket for it, or you could use RTV sealant. As for now, it cant leak much I dont think, but I will watch it closely and look at taking off the cover when it cools down some. |
