Default 94 EZGO stopped and F/W Beeping

My 1994 TXT EZGO Medalist had been up for a year. Batteries are 3 yrs old. Water in batteries was so low took 2 gallons of distilled water to fill them all up. Cleaned and manually charged enough that charger would recognize. They charged up! My son broke the wheel in a crash and cannot drive (wheel turns out) but trying to move it out for repairs. Hit "gas" and worked fine. Third time wouldn't do anything. Could hear click from solenoid (replaced 2 yrs ago and still looks like new) Oddly we noticed after recharging the F/R beeping in either position. Would the beeping in fwd position be a sign to help diagnose reason it won't move? Lots of threads on ea subject but nothing combined.

Tested the batteries. Read 6v. Lifted the cart and connected the batteries straight to the motor. Wheels are turning. I guess the batteries are ok and the motor has been eliminated. Still no movement. Solenoid clicking though. I would like to know if the pedal switch was bad, would the solenoid still click?

What is the battery pack voltage at rest and what does it drop to when you TRY to go?

Well I posted this initially 8/2012. I have no testing equipment. But kids were bugging me so going to tackle. After all this time batteries still holding charge. Lights came on. I can here solenoid firing but no movement. Since solenoid firing I assumed the micro switch is fine. Ive had speed controller melt before and was replaced. The solenoid was replaced at same time. It "looks" ok. I dont know what else I can do to pin point. We just hit accelerator in reverse and it just quit after 3rd time. Btw its a 1994 medalist ezgo txt . Oh and motor turns fine when straight wired. All my wires look fine. Help me! Site wont let me change old email but if anyones got idea email sbbzbees@gmail.com too
