verticle ezgo 36v State of charge meter
Hi all! newbie here.
I just got a 2000 pds cart all stock. So I pulled out the freedom speed chip from the J2 local, ran it in diognostic mode to see if it switched over to stock mode(all terrain) all good. but immediately my verticle ezgo 36v State of charge meter stoped working...no indicator lights? I was hoping someone might have a idea why and what I can do. ps. I just pulled the ignition/f/r switch, volt meter plague out so I could look at the connections.. now I have forgot which post from the meter goes to the ignition? they are labeled 5,4,3 i believe. Thanks! Last edited by lawnripper; 08-13-2012 at 11:00 AM.. Reason: typing |

Ia loose wire... just wiggled the red wire that goes to the battery and it went back on.. I also found a diagram showing the connections to the ignition etc...

That has got to be one of the best descriptions of a LED Bar Graph type SoC meters I have ever heard. If you removed all the wire from the meter, it probably re-calibrated 100% to whatever your battery pack was charge to at the time the wires were reconnected, so don't trust it too much until you've charged the batteries fully a couple times. I went with one of these and avoided that issue. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Digita...ry_Meters.html |

Re: verticle ezgo 36v State of charge meter
Thanks camaroluvz28!
Right on JohnnieB haha it said some where b4 I posted to be very descriptive. I am saving my pennies for 1. new tires 2. 4 or 2 gauge cables( it has 4 gauge on there but the build quality is a little suspect. 3. looking for something to make it feel a little more stable. shocks, suspension? any suggestions? This cart is driven on dirt, gravel slight mud roads.. some hills. I know that this model (stock) is not for these conditions.. so we are really trying to baby it without going to slow. So far the everything seems to run cool. 4. maybe upgrade the controller. and get one of those v meters. 5 Buy another one 2008 ac drive, customized for our terrain here in northern costa rica. again thanks alot for the input |
