Default 2007 Bad Buggies

Im new and not sure where to asked for help.
2007 BBB, while backing off the trailer in reverse it came off at full speed when i switch into reverse. when i regained my senses i switched off the key.
I smelled what smelled like burning electrical wiring.
Now nothing, wont go forward or reverse. when turning the key it takes 45 sec to a minute to hear the solenoid to click (engage). switching from forward to reverse i cant hear another click.
took it to a golf cart repair shop. They dont have a clue either. It did the run away from driver while the mechanic was working on it last week. ran over him out the door and hit a parked car.
now again nothing. They are recommending i start to pay for swapping parts, controller, all the solenoid. Due to cost this isnt an option.

Suggestions on what can i do to test the controller and the solenoids. My gut tells me its a solenoid but thats just my feeling after smelling the burning wire during first encounter.

Next option is dig a hole and bury the demon.

Throttle sensor sounds like. Common bb problem. Wire on those have crap insulation. On my phone so a little short. Google bad boy throttle recall.
