Default got my first cart!! early 80's lots of little issues

OK just got my first cart, and its a blast!! The kids love it also, but needs some work. Fuel lines are rock hard, and one send slipped off wile riding it... luckily it was before the pump! So that's a early job. Also it needs some new cables. The main ones are REAL bad! OK, so a few thing I need help with... on like throttle like going down hill, it will act like its stalling, also sometimes when you let off the accel pedal it doesn't shut off. Sounds like a adjustment, but I don't know where to start. I did read a post about the spring on the cable near the Carb. This one is loose and sloppy could that be the causing this all?

The drive belt seems REAL loose. How loose should it be at rest?

It also stalled on me after running about 15min. First places to look?

There is a glass fuse that goes in the back of the direction control. This one is jerryrigged up, and I want the right fuse. Anyone know the amp of this fuse?

And last for now.... how do I find the age of the cart? The member doest go in the ezho site,

Ser number is 293795. And model number is G00883. Any info on it? Thanks for any help!!!!

Nice score! Try not to let the pedal go all the way while going down hill. You will lock the motor up.

You guys are MEAN, hahahahaahaha .....

It's an 83 per the model ID# - the belt is supposed to be loose at standstill, loose enough to actually roll off the clutches by hand in fact. The factory fuse if I recall should be a 30a, and the adjustment for the pedal is at the microswitch, it's on the lower firewall directly under whare the driver sits (pull the seat and with the key off move the pedal, you'll see the microswitch and how it works, you may have to bend the arm a bit but likely it just has come loose and needs to be tightened back up

Thanks!
Is there a manual online for this era cart? I've seen early models, and later stuff, but I haven't found any in the early 80's era
