Depending on your reducer, it should have a "remote" wire. That would be where you want to cut of the power(on the way into the reducer not after).

Yeah i dont have a remote wire on the reducer. Thats why i have to use a relay.

So yours only has 3 wires? Power in, Ground, and power out?

The reducer is a 48v 25 amp reducer. Black and red on one side to connect to batteries and a blue and black on the other side for the output! No remote wire. Image attached is install instructions.
