Inspect the F&R studs for any sign of high heat. Any discoloring or any change in angle of one stud in the housing? Any sign one cable end got hot?

if I had installed the doid backwards at one point would that have killed it? Not saying I did but I had all that stuff loose a bunch and may have put it on wrong one time. I just checked it and its right now.

Im also not sure about the wires going to the controller. It has a D&D on it are the wires the same as the pictures earlier.

Typically that will fry the peddle box MS

But if your solenoid clicks then all of the activation circuit is good

I checked it with my meter and it checked fine. I just used an ohm meter though

Try this series controller test

Jack rear wheels off ground.

Connect Negative DMM test lead to B- terminal on top of controller.
Connect Positive test lead to M- terminal.

Keyswitch ON and F/R in F
press pedal unit solenoid first clicks.
You should read FULL battery pack voltage between B- and M-. watch the meter as you continue to press the pedal, the voltage should drop to near 0 volts

The meter didn't go down. It actually went up 2-3 volts. I'm not actually sure the 4 small wires are in the correct place either.

Update on my ezgo. Went out to work on it this morning. I turned the switch on and hit the pedal and it ran. We rode it about 10 mins and it stopped. Now nothing again. It sounds like something simple but I cant find anything. It has an upgraded controller and motor. I think it's a D&D 4855 controller.

have you looked at the wires on the back of the ignition switch? are they making good contact? seems like you have looked at everything except that.. it sounds to me like it is something real simple to fix but a real pain in the rump to diagnose... good luck!!
