Ford National Seal # 472164 is it!! more pricey than I thought but Oreillys had it at $16.99 + tax and CARQUEST at $12.99 + tax so you may want to shop around. I did buy the one at Oreillys first to see if it was correct then went to my local CARQUEST that didn't even think about and there it was. I'm returning the one from Oreillys and keeping the other for my stock. So thank you for the lesson Good luck and let me know.

By the way, what year is your cart LOU? Just so I'm clear, I shouldn't buy the one from Oreillys? Was that just due to price, or difference in product? I'm assuming they all sell Timkens.

Sounds like you have your hands full! My wife is fed up with just ONE! I went into Oreillys last night and they ordered me the new seal. Picking it up and installing it tonight. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

Well, I believe Ive got it fixed. I drove it around last night for a few minutes after I got it back together. So far...no leaks, but I didn't run it but 5 minutes. So it would appear that its fixed (fingers crossed). I suppose if it still leaks, at least I have a solution to the problem now. Only problem I had was the fit was VERY tight, but after a few choice words, it went in. Thanks a bunch LOU, and everyone else for your help. I took a bunch of photos, so I may post the process pics (even though it is a really simple fix). While searching for a solution to this problem, I ran across several other people that had the same issue. So maybe it will help someone else fix their issue as well. My luck though, I am probably the LAST person to find a fix for this issue. We will see.

It wasn't that it was missing. There was so much CRUD built up that after I wiped it down with a rag, you still couldn't see the seal. It wasn't until I had scraped everything off with a putty knife and flathead screwdriver that I finally saw there was actually a seal in there. It was worn really bad and the rubber seal had been worn away to just a very thin strip of rubber. Needless to say I felt a little dumb for assuming that there wasn't a seal in there just by looking at it at face value.

Im glad you got it fixed. I might have take my clutch off and look to see if I have a seal in mine. I found that national seal number at rock auto for $7.99
