ezgo gas 350cc sparks one time then no more
have a rebuilt 350cc robin engine 1996 model eh35. new pulsar coil new coil new igniter new you name it. when depressing foot pedal with the spark plug grounded outside engine to observe spark it will spark one time and then no more. both cylinders same thing. any ideas what would be killing the spark. if i stop cranking and let up foot pedal then press pedal again--same thing one spark then no more as engine continues to crank.

Had a similar problem with a two stroke outboard recently so my cure might be completely different from yours. Outboard would spark once when starting and that was it. Turned out to be a bad trigger under the flywheel. I ohmed it out and it read open when it was supposed to be something that I don't remember at this time..
