Re: 36 volt versus 42 volt set up?
Lmfao i almost fell off the cart reading those replies ! So if i replace the batteries which route should i go. Is there a way i can buy batteries for a set up that will run the cart as is but be modified for speed later?

Re: 36 volt versus 42 volt set up?
Since you're going to have to buy all new components anyhow, I personally would go with 48 volts and get with scottyb for some wires, a controller, and a solenoid, plus a charger. That'll get you a solid start on a good cart, then later you can upgrade to a speed motor because you'll already have everything else in place. You'll just have to remember to get one for a Club Car even though the cart is an EZGO.
