Default New member new cart 02txt

Hey guys, just picked up a new cart (to me). Looking for some input. The cart is really clean (stock) with exception of motor and controller. It has a alltrax axe4855 controller and D&D electric motor 8.6hp. I paid 1500$ for the cart batteries are us battery 2200 xc2 2yrs old from date code on battery, thoughts ?
Cart runs great !

Questions are : is this controller programable ? And how involved is it ? Also I'm really liking a set of wheesl from itp that are unfortunately discontinued, the are the interceptor 7 spoke or the 5 spoke. I'll try to post some pics.

Any advice or input is greatly appreciated.

Nick

Controller is programmable and I think thats a pretty good price for a running cart with good parts. Look on ebay for the wheels. Most cart wheels have copies that are pretty close but named something else. Usually the only difference might be offset.

Look on ebay for "gigaware usb to serial cable", about $15. I suggest that brand because i know for sure it works, and has a pretty long cable to reach your PC laptop. The Alltrax software and instructions are free on the website listed above. The wheels were also common on "star" golf carts, so you may be able to find someones "take-offs" on ebay or craigslist (thats what im running).

Nick, CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
