Smile New Cart in the Family

Father-in-Law picked up this 2005 gas DS yesterday. I've been designated to be it's official mechanic and maintainer. Looks like a pretty easy job. Cart is a crème puff. No plans to do anything to it except raise the top speed a small bit. I'll have to go read up on the zip-tie method of adjusting the governor.

Looking for a good thread that explains the zip-tie governor adjustment with pictures and I haven't found one. I'm already familiar with NO NO NO EZGO's sticky thread "Speeding up your Club Car", but there are no pictures in that thread...

Thanks Lockman. I'm excited to cut my mechanical teeth on one of the newer carts with the FE motors (1992-newer). I haven't worked on them much at all.

They asked me to make a clever, personalized decal for the sides. The cart is primarily for use by my mother-in-law to cart the grandkids around the property. She likes sheep and has three grandkids, all of whom call her "Baba". Here's what I came up with:

Nice!!

Any plans to remove the decals on the side of the front cowl, or are those needed?

I already removed those ugly decals the day after they picked it up. She's clean. Flags are coming off after the holiday as well.

I see we think alike. The first thing Dad and I always do to vehicles is remove ugly dealership stick-ons and sometimes even factory badging we think looks like clutter.

Those decals you designed are gonna look good on the sides - we're gonna need more pics!!
