Help me decide ... Controller upgrade or Motor Upgrade?
Hello all - struggling between a couple of options for a speed upgrade. I would really appreciate your thoughts and any advice you could offer. I currently have a 2017 CC Precedent with 20" tires and speed code 4. Getting about 20 mph top speed (as expected). I'm in Myrtle Beach so no hills to worry about and the cart is driven exclusively on paved roads.
I would like to increase the top speed of the cart to about 25 mph and I'm looking at two options:
Assuming they both give me close to the same top-end speed, would there be much difference in the handling and responsiveness of the cart? I don't think I would ever need to get the cart up past the mid-20s so not sure if I would take advantage of the future-proofing of the controller upgrade. Very interested in your thoughts... Thanks! |
