Replaced SAME BATTERY 3 times now!! Grrr.
Club Car DS, 95 model I think. Put all new matching batteries in in about 5 months ago. In those same 5 months I have replaced one battery three times now. It is ALWAYS the same battery in the series, the last one where positive cable connects to golf cart. The other 5 batteries have always tested 8.6+ volts. The last time I replaced this bad battery with a new one I have only taken the cart out maybe 3 times for less than 2 1/2 miles total. This last trip with fully charged batteries I could tell something was wrong. Headed to the house and that new battery is testing 4.6 volts. The question is does anyone have any idea why the same battery in the series keeps going bad? I am ready to sell this thing, this is ridiculous but something has to be causing it! At my wits end.

Where is your red wire from your charge receptacle connected?

Just looked, it is connected to the 5th battery in the series. Oh, so that 6th battery never was getting charged all this time???? Sheez.

Yes! I imagine it will be an entirely different cart now. LOL. Can't believe after three battery changes it was something so simple, makes perfect sense NOW. Appreciate the help for sure and can't wait to take it out tomorrow. Was getting ready to sell this sucka!
