Default Re: Hsky Big battery finally shipped for my 2015 RXV

Did a real deal range test on HSKY in a totally stock Yamaha G29 this past weekend. I got 35.53 miles out of it before the battery died.

wow 35 Miles !! , Amazing.. my NEW trojan 48v pak I'm doubting will do 20 miles. But we have alot of elevation here in Ky where the cart is used, and my top speed is up to 32mph, on a 2015 RXV, so this reduces my range a few miles I"m sure.

I need to do a "real" Range test and post accurate results. Sounds like I need the husky 48v battery though. Still a little worried about a Safe charging method and exactly how to use the "stock" charge port. I have the Lester II charger, so it may be compatible with lithium batteries already.

I am happy with range on mine. My RXV draws a lot of amps being programmed and larger tires making it run 28mph top speed.

When the battery dies though it for sure dies. My step son was driving it one day and it died. I worked on it for an hour thinking something was messed up and that it couldn't be the battery but it was in fact the battery.
