Need help with my next build
I am in the planing stage of a golf cart build for the wife *couch me couch* This one I want to keep it electric, It will be used for mud, trails, and just driving around where she (me) wants too. I plan on using up to a 32" mud tires on this, So what would be a good, set up to push those tires, and not die to fast, I would like to get a few hours of hard trail/mud riding out of a single charge.

Re: Need help with my next build
What kind of cart are you planning? Are you looking at a Ezgo or Yami? You would want a series type motor, a regen motor would not handle what you are planning.

Re: Need help with my next build
Go to lifted carts and read what others have had to do to push big tires.
Wires, controllers, FR switches. |

Re: Need help with my next build
It's my opinion based on mistakes (mine and others) and the experience they have given me that tires over 23 inches are more of a hindrance than an asset on an off road electric golf cart.....
Start thinking in terms of power to weight ratio. |
