Default dead in the water

Now my 2001 Club Car 48 volt won't move in F or R. (F/R is a lever) Just makes a mild clonk but won't go . Batteries are fully charged

Make sure that your battery terminals are corrosion free, clean and tight. A poor connection will allow low currents to pass but not high ones.

A clonk is that sound you get when you step on the pedal and expect cart to go and it just goes "clonk" and you just know it's gonna be expen$ive .Could start with an "Oh F- - - ) It moves ok if I push it.

Sounds like a bad switch or something like that cause I have to wait a few seconds for it to go 'clunk" again.

Do you hear a solenoid click when the cart is on, in forward, and you press the go pedal?
Search on here for a thread about testing your motor. That will tell you if its bad or not...

Sorry Stu..hope you can find out your issues. If you have jack stands, pick up the rear end where the wheels are off the ground and press the gas. See if the motor turns or your can locate the location of the "clunk". Good luck with your issues.
