Default New Nunnely Golf Modded engine

I just installed a modded Robins 295/350 from Nunnely Golf. I have heavy smoke from the exhaust sounds like to much oil. I have no power. I Had the perfect setup prior to the change out. I seized the old 295. I messed with the govenor no change actually worse, tried to change it back and no go. I went down a small incline and turned around and no power couldn't get back up hill had to tow home. The new engine is suppose to have milled head, exhaust work, springs and clutch. I don't know what is wrong. I am reading bits from all the other posts but what do I start with first. I also live at 3500' elevation. Please help.

one possability...Lifted carts don't read right on the dip stick, to much oil will cause the engine to smoke.
another..... your muffler is full of oil from the last blown engine.
yet another..... rings havent seated on the new engine
even more.... you have your pcv blocked off
Try a compression test, should be in the 190+ range

Where is the PCV valve located? Thanks for the info. I guess it would be best if I drain the oil and refill it with 1.5 qts and then mark the dipstick as I have seen on other forums. I didn't know the lifted cart was the issue. The compression should be good it is brand new. Thx, Jordan

pcv is right below the carb, should have a hose running to the breather.

I'm just curious why you wouldn't call the people who sold the engine and let them help you?

no smoke. Drained oil, refilled and marked the dipstick, removed the pcv hose and no power. clutches move through rpm range seem to grab belt hard...No power. Starts to go then just slows to stop and won't get moving again.
