breather question on my cc
i added a lift today to my cart. i made the lift myself and i droped the front of the motor to help keep it at the factory angle for oil flow but noticed now my air intake tube is about half flat against the black box beside the air box. has anyone else had to deal with this, do i need to relocate that box, or is there a hose made to adapt around this issue, i havent had that box apart to look and see if i could notch it out some way. just looking for some thoughts. o and the lift is 7 and a half inches and i dropped the front of the motor 3. this with fatcory tires put my floor board at 19 inches off the ground. and im looking to run 23x11x10's just havent bought them yet.

Yep!
That happens when you lower the front of the engine cradle! Here's a link for an intake tube that'll resolve that issue: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...ubcar-gas.html and some before and after pics of mine! |

Re: breather question on my cc
thanks lockman. n yep my intake tube looks just like the pick.
on mine i remade the whole pice out of the rubber instead of adding a pice of plate looks factory and just reused the two bolts that were there. new pice is out of 1/4" (worked great) |

On~
post a pic of yours... I found that if ALL of the bends are rubber, at fast accelleration, the bends will collapse, causing the engine to choke. Been there... Done that... see my "jury rig" pic below. im~ Any Briggs and Stratton small engine repair shop can order them for you! (I had to order mine!) |

Re: breather question on my cc
Well I ordered that Briggs manifold. I spent a day or so trying to find one that the shipping wasnt gonna kill me. Dang it's a 12 dollar part and with shipping it was from 19.98 ( which is what I got) all the way up to 26.99. All were shipping ups for this little part, why can't they stick it in the USPS mail box n ship it out for 2 bucks. Sheesh. Anyways it's on the way !!!
