Default marathon to txt swap exhaust question+marathon steering+snorkle

okay guys heres a report on the cart .redoing the exhaust & steering + built snorkle .i just need to know if use DEI exhaust wrap the whole muffler except the tip if it would be okay as far as mounting it in the engine bay as seen in the pictures below its going to be aiming down,back-low or back high. need some input on which would be the safest location to mount it

and thought id show a teaser of my semi finished snorkle just needs to be sealed and painted.made this as ive already had to incur the cost of re building a motor because water and mud got sucked in the filter during a storm.. (cart does start and idle with the system installed)seems to rev like normal once i finish installing my new steering parts redoing the exhaust section. ill update on how it runs wot most likely will need to drill the jet a tad bit more .

On my yamaha I used a car airbox and ran pvc under the floor up to under the front body. The idea was to get intake out of the dust I get a lot of on the sandy trails. Air filter is $7 for it to boot. Its about even with the top of the tire and with the frame I don't think water will splash up there. If I ever get that deep in water the belt wont move the cart anyway. I do get some noise out of the pipe I may put another 90 on it or something. Can hear it suck air if cart coming towards you fast. Also sounds kinda cool and its not that loud so maybe I'll leave it. I welded a 2" muffler clamp to the frame near the gas pedal to hold the pvc under there, works great.
