Re: Portable Blue Tooth Speaker Idea's ?
I'm installing the Kenwood BT AMP, I'm going to put it on a switch to turn it on/off. I also installed the Fuse Block next to it.
Question: It says Yellow wire to + Battery ? This will go to the + on the fuse block right? , - NEG Black to chassis per directions, but on golf carts we goto the NEG side on the 12V deep cycle battery, so this goes to NEG on the fuse block right? I just installed to power everything, and the blue wire is for? Does the blue wire goto the separate switch I'm installing ? I'm going to use a LED Toggle switch to turn the AMP ON/OFF Does the above sound correct ? |

Portable Blue Tooth Speaker Idea's ?
The fuse block I have had terminals for both + and - . If yours does not than go to the - output on the reducer or 12v battery, not the frame like a car or the main pack. The blue wire is the trigger wire to turn it on so that should go to the switch with 12v + . If you look at my wiring pic I have the yellow and blue on the same terminal on the fuse block since I have the battery on a switched relay.
BTW, the remote fits perfect there, looks great. I've got mine in the ball holder for now. I have a secret plan in store for it, I just need to find the right pieces to make my plan work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Also, I'm loving these waterproof elevator led switches from amazon.

Re: Portable Blue Tooth Speaker Idea's ?
Thanks appreciate the help!
My fuse block has a positive and negative side. I wired yellow to positive on fuse block, black to negative on fuse block, blue to switch on dash to turn the amp in/off as a trigger wire. Your dash looks great! |

Re: Portable Blue Tooth Speaker Idea's ?
I have the older version of this
https://www.outdoortechnology.com/pr...nt=33123197774 Previous owner of my cart had already drilled a hole for something in the upright of the canopy support so I just used a 1/4-20 knob that I had laying around and mounted it that way. I can quickly take it off to use it somewhere else and also take it off and stash it in the glovebox if I am going to be away from my cart |
