94 Marathon-grinding noise and cart will not move
I’m creating another post since this other one was in the wrong group and had some incorrect information.
After a ride with no issues, cart starts making a grinding noise and will not move. Axle sounded like it was turning, but wheels wouldn’t move. Checked both drum hubs and they were good. Wheels would spin while jacked up, but nothing while on the ground. Removed whole rear and found the input shaft splines are stripped. Can the splines on the motor end be replaced or will we need to replace the input shaft and motor. |

Re: 94 Marathon-grinding noise and cart will not move
After doing more research I see that the coupler on the motor can be replaced which is cheaper than replacing the motor since it’s still working.
Can anyone confirm the motor on a 94 EZGO Marathon so that I order the correct coupler? It’s a 19 spline coupler. |
