Marathon frame repair
85 Ezgo marathon cart with rusted frame rails has me stumped as far as the best repair solution. The battery trays are stainless steel and the frame rails are almost rusted through. Does anyone have any solutions. The damage is at what seems to be the most critical, supporting the weight of the batteries and the passengers. So I need to properly fix it before moving on with any upgrades. Thanks.

Re: Marathon frame repair
well you could find another frame altogether and scrap this one....but I would keep that battery tray. or find a scraped feame whos frame secetions that are good where yours are bad and cut them out and replace them. thats the only 2 options I can see that you have.

Re: Marathon frame repair
That’s along the lines I was thinking. Problem I have is temporarily bracing the frame so I can out out the bad without the whole thing caving in. I bought some bed rails just for this temp bracing but don’t see any good ways to do it. Anyway thanks for the response.
