Default 1999 EZGO with 1205 controller wiring diagram

Searched and cannot find a wiring diagram for a 1999 ezgo with a 1205 controller. Any one have one?

Johnnie B., cart is not wired according to this diagram. BLU from MS2 going to Solenoid is not there. 250 ohmn res on solenoid is not there, also diode on solenoid is missing. solenoid has 38.04 volts on battery side. 0 on eqpt side but goes to 38.04 when pedal is depressed but cart will not run, replaced solenoid and controller, still will not run. Does this setup have a reed switch on it? Stumped I am.

EZGO made several series drives with 1205 controllers on various chassis and different pack voltages and covered them with numerous body styles.

Which body style is yours??????

You mentioned a reed switch, so here is a schematic of one with a reed switch.

The solenoid's controller side large terminal is going from 0V to Pack voltage when pedal is pushed, so the solenoid activation circuit is working.

The cart will run without the resistor and diode, but they ought to be installed after you fix whatever is now keeping it from running. The diode keeps the pedal switch contacts from arcing as much and the resistor keeps the solenoid's contacts from arcing as much, increasing their respective lifespans.

Since the solenoid is working, the problem is in the High Amp circuit or throttle.

Connect your voltmeter between the controller's B- and M- terminals.

When pedal is pushed just far enough to make solenoid click, you should read full batter pack voltage (38.2V when fully charged).

IF you don't get pack voltage, check the voltage on the thick wires until you find the missing voltage. The F/R switch contacts are typical where the voltage goes missing.

m- to B- reads pack voltage when solenoid engages, M199 is model number

M199 is the Date code.

Please post pictures of label date code is on as well as the cart itself and under the seat.

You get the voltage, so push the pedal to the floor and it should decrease to 0V.

If it doesn't, check the ITS voltage. See attached text.

ok got cart running but it is full speed when solenoid engages. Replaced ITS still same problem. info plate is in bad shape but it reads kw 1.87 golf car last item is 360.6. cart is same as any series cart in this time . forward reverse switch has been replaced. When 250 ohmn resistor in added to solenoid, it begins to heat up, reverse buzzer has a weak sound.

How about some pictures of cart, controller. F/R switch and batteries.

Highest resolution as possible and use the paperclip to attach them as thumbnails.

Johnnie B on solenoid resistor is removed on 1 side. heats up while cart is idle.
Anyway cart runs but wide open only. Replaced ITS still full speed ahead.
