Default Ezgo txt series 36volt upgrades

I’m building a 2002 txt series cart. I have upgrade to 48v. 2ga cables 440 amp Navitas 400 solenoid and new f and r. Will be running 22” tires. What kind of speed should I expect with a fresh battery pack??

I run about 26 mph with just me in my cart, and about 23 with the whole family. I'm running 48v with Alltrax 48500 controller, MJZ400 Solenoid, and 18" tires.

I also have a back seat.

ETA: I'm also a series cart

assumeing you are running a stock motor....your cart should run about 18 mph....to get any more speed out of it in your current configuration, you only have 2 options and take is to either get a high speed motor....or change the ring/pinion gears in the differential.

Thanks Sir Nuke - Is there a thread for your Cart and your upgrades? Your cart is very similar to what I'm doing with mine and looking for more reference material. Looking for more threads on a EZGO TXT Series to Alltrax 48500 conversion. Getting ready to start mine..

Why does every one want to go fast and faster then that, I cruise around the neighborhood around 5 to 10 mph and so does everyone else with the radio playing and chatting with each other and looking at what folks are doing. My cart will go 17 MH, We checked on one of those speed signs that tell you how fast you are going, an we went back and forth past it several times and yup, 17 mph with two of us in a 36V EXGO lifted with 12" knobby tires. Go full speed and your battery goes down faster. The Golf Cart parades don't go much faster then a brisk walking speed.
