Default club car sway bar questions

I did some searching and could find nothing specific.

Is anybody here using the factory club car sway bars on their cart? Opinions good bad or otherwise? I have a chance at getting one for labor and am wondering if it is worth the hassle of putting it on my campground cruiser.

thanks,
Aaron

I think sway bars are good in cars for turns & maybe if you have a heavy load. I wouldnt mind one for my cart if I had one.

I have taken them off of my XRT when the lift went on. They interfered & had to go.... I was worried how that might effect the ride but i could not tell a difference but i never did load the cargo bed to capacity?

i was just wondeing because we sometimes load the cart up with 4 large adults and then pull the trailer behind us. I know there is a lot of weight on the rear of the cart and was thinking it might help to equilise things out back there.

we have a 5 1/2 speed limit at the campground so usually we are just putzing around. just wasn't sure if it was gonna be worth all the effert for me to pull and install. I would have to make a template and drill 8 holes in the ds frame to install. in kinda a pita location. was just not wanting to do this for nothing.

thanks for the inputs

When I loaded my 99 cart with dirt in the bed and took a turn more than 5 mph, I had a lot of body roll as it felt the cart wanted to flip. A sway bar is good to stop a lot of that but going 5 mph, idk as thats pretty slow. Dont know if youd see a difference going that slow.
