I put a loose zip tie on my governor spring and it runs about 18 MPH. Now, after a couple weeks it will backfire after I stop for a stop sign and attempt to take off. I want to correct the issue before damage is caused! I have a 2010 Club Car Precedent, the rev limiter has NOT been touched (by me). Any help is greatly appreciated!

I responded to another CC owner regarding the zip tie, so I figured I'd add photos of my cart when I did it last year.

10 cents, 2 minutes, 9 MPH!

Hi guys,

New to Club Car gas. I have a 2009 Precedent. How do you get to the spring? Do you get to it from under the seat or rear panel?

Thanks.
Paul
