David I think your exactly correct, I was looking over the owners manual when i found the trick to run it without being in gear. That said it has a very high rev as soon as the GCOR box allows it to run, when trying to let off the throttle it can idle any lower before the box makes it shut off or at least thats the way it sounds. I will try your trick to manipulate box location so it will "ignite" sooner at lower idle speeds. Thanks for the direction you put me in.

You're very welcome. It'll work.

I wanted to follow up on this thread, I took Davids advice and altered my GCOR box. So far it seems to have worked, thanks David, and so I wanted to explain what i did.
To get to the box you have to take the floor mat out and remove the brake/throttle plate. The GCOR box is held by two screws. The box has two spacers that fit inside the metal housing
GCOR Spacers.jpg.
I took a hacksaw and removed them flush with the box. The throttle plate that it mounts to has larger holes than the mounting screws so removing the spacers allowed me to twist the box before tightening it down. I also used some black silicon as a glue so that when it dried it would be pretty secure.

Took for a spin and it seems to have given me the low end speed i was looking for. Thanks David.

Hope this helps.
