Found the instructions for the rings in the manual, but nothing for the head gasket, does it need to go in with a certain side up?

ok that part is done. Now am I crazy or is there supposed to be a rubber surround that goes on the rpm limiter? I thought there was one there, but now I can't find it. And I cant find it online either.

There's no rubber between the front mounting bracket and the limiter,
there is however a "damper" type gasket between the limiter and the rear mounting bracket!

I apologize for the delay, I don't know if you still need this or not, but here it is!

The front bracket surrounds the limiter with no rubber/gasket/insulator between them!

Thanks. I got it all back together. With only one extra nut. A nylon lock nut. Even got it running after I tood the valve cover off and put the push rods in the right place.
