Help - CC DS was running fine, now just clicks.
used it a half dozen times today and went to back up and it was just clicking. I can roll it over by hand fine. took the plastic cover off of the solenoid thinking i could jump it but it does nothing. I may have shifted it before stoppong completely, not sure if that has anything to do with it. 13 volts at the battery and at the solenoid. any ideas?

Had this same thing happen with my in-laws 2005 gas DS last summer. Was running fine but then went to back up and nothing. Battery voltage read good which threw me off at first. But as it turned out, the battery was toast.
Try swapping in a known-good battery if you have one. |

I will try that - Can I jump it or that won't work? I took the S/G in today and had it checked - Checked out fine.

I hooked up my battery from my boat with some longer cables and it fired right up. Thanks for the tip, never would have thought of that. Getting a new battery tomottow. Thanks again.
