All new metrics came with the lift kit.I don't think I am going to be able to get the impact gun on the bolt heads no room. But mr chevy has offer his car lift for next weekend so if we can fit it on there maybe I can get a clearer picture of what tools I can bring to bear.

After all kinds of force I see the a arm bolts are frozen in the steel sleeves inside the a arm bushings.I cannot find a source or even the part# to replace these bushings after I guess I will have to cut the bolts off between the a arm and the mounts.I hope one of you yamaha wizards can help.

That's exactly what I had to do, but I installed a Jake's lift kit, so it didn't matter!!

Might put the A arm in the drill press and drill the bolt out. Or call Plowman monday morn. and see if he has the bushings!! Or Jake's!!

The part # for the bushings is JN6-F3526-00 if anyone else runs into this problem.

Thats why I rattle the living **** out of them,it will break the sleaves loose from the bolts,it just takes some time.Like I said before,Do Not use any penetrating fluids, only the air-hammer,and they will loosen. Most good penetrating fluids that actually work will attack the rubber and ruin the bushings.Hope this helps.

Believe me I rattled the **** out of them and no dice. The saline atmosphere does terrible things to metal parts. Ordered new bushings today and when they come Mr. chevy will put it up on his lift and we will cut the bolts between the frame and the a arms and rebush them. This part of the build has made putting the clone in a walk in the park.In fact I cannot remember any project as frustrating as this situation has been. But I have been able to use the cart while all this has gone on.Plus the 70's hot rod look has people on the beach looking as this oddly angled golf cart drives by.

Finally today got the G14 on Mr. Chevy's lift.We tried EVERYTHING under the sun to try and get the frozen bolts out of the a-arms as well as every kind of cutting device known to man..After repeated failures Mr Chevy who is a retired high steel welder used a cutting torch and cut the heads off the bolts and we were able to pry the a-arms out.We also use the torch to melt out the old bushing from the a-arms.Even after repeated red hot heatings the old bolts were still seized to the steel sleeves.Without Mr. Chevy's lift, cutting torch and incredible skill with the torch I don't know how the job could have been done.

Yes we used the torch to soften the old bushing and pushed them out with a the flat end of a pry bar while they were burning. Then cleaned up the a-arm and used a large bench vice to press the new one in.Below finished product with lights and bumper reinstalled. Also seen the tie rod ends are not so good a new set is on order.
