i have a carry all, they are slightly different.... run your new cable were the wires are going. that will take you around the bar, and should still keep it a smooth non binding action. do not hook it to the trans, and verify before you hook it up. might have o take taco mans suggestion of manipulating the bracket. especilly if its a lifted cart.... it throughs a lot of angles off, carb intake air, the snubbe, and the fuel liens

this is a factory carryall xrt on a set of 22s. biggest difference is the 4 wheel brakes, the z frame drop and the bed, otherwise its a ds...

as i look again between both my photos and yours, i see the bracket your taklking about, it basic raises mine up a hair. i think, if you run the new cable between the bar and the frame, were your wiring is coming through, and hook it up to the bar, then if need be, bend the bracket to gt the right angle, it should be fine, for a stock non lifted cart.

I'm going to have to play with it some this weekend.

I'm thinking I may have to weld up something or maybe see if I can turn a sleve of some form on the lathe

It's frustrating lol

is it stock, or lifted? looks like like it was installed wrong, and pulled out at the crimp. i can get you the carryall bracket part number.... thats what i have, it will fit yours. angles are diffenrt on a lift cart over a stock cart, and this is one of the effected parts.
