johnny240,

I can't help, I know a little bit about club car, but absolutely nothing about Gem. I did a search on the internet and couldn't find a manual for this either

Hopefully someone else on here can help you,

Just start at the charge wires. Doesn't matter how the batteries go in, its all wiring. Positive to negative and make sure at the end you got 48 volts

You know the black charge wire is main battery negative, and you know the red charge wire is main battery positive, so if you start with those 2 batteries, then the rest should fall into place.

Looking at the pictures you uploaded an assuming You have 4x12v batteries, the only wiring that makes sense is:

(Bat+) ........+[ #1 Front ]- .... (36v-)

(48 GND) ... -[ #4 Front ]+ .... (12v+)
The other 2 batteries in the back just wire in series + to - with the front ones:
(from 12v+) .... -[ #3 Back ]+.......-[ #2 Back ]+.....(from 36v-)
I number the batteries how they should appear in the series with Bat #1 being pack positive and Bat #4 being pack negative.
