93 Club Car DS
Hi everyone, great forum! Lots of helpful info, maybe too much info to comb through.
 I purchased a 93 gas Club Car DS this past fall. I replaced the fuel pump, carb, spark plug, both belts, the starter generator and replaced all the fluids in the cart. I suspect I have a weak battery for starting, so I will address that shortly. However, when I do have it running, it seems kinda sluggish/slow/weak when it gets to its top speed(haven’t clocked it yet). What are the potential causes for this and what can I do to make it a bit stronger? Also, when starting, it will want to crank for several seconds before actually catching and taking off. Sometimes I get better luck with it starting if I let off the pedal and only have it depressed to about 25%. Any help would be great! |

Make sure you have a good starter/generator belt and it is tight.
