Default Controller voltage

Hi!

I have a yamaha 48v buggy which has been sitting in my shed for years due to no batteries. I have a 60v lithium battery and was wondering whether the controller would take it ? It is probably 67v fully charged.

thanks

Tom

Default Re: Controller voltage

It "might take it", but it will really be pissed. Too high for stock 48v controller limits. Also, you didnt mention the AH capacity of the pack you intend to use. You can make 60+ volts from a stack of AA batteries, but that wont take you anywhere. (Might power up once, but wouldnt get you past the end of the driveway). So, what's the capacity? Dont be a fool.

Understand more than just "voltage".
