G16E quitting on trail
Friend has '99 G16E that works fine on smooth road, but quits if out on nature trail and hits a hard bump.......switching forward to reverse several times will finally get it to go.
Reading several posts here is making me think it is time to replace F&R switch. Am I right?? |

Re: G16E quitting on trail
Sounds to me like a main connection is loose. When you hit a bump it breaks the connection and cuts power to the controller. One way to find it is to physically look and move the wiring around. Another way is to put the cart safely up on jackstands, have someone hold the accelerator down just a bit, and with some rubber heavy rubber gloves on, start wiggling the suspected wiring. If you find the correct wire, the cart will die.
