Gel Cell Battery swap
Currently have gel cell batteries on my car, If I swap to led cell , will my charger still work or will I need to change it too ? Looks like the freezing weather may have caused my batteries to not hold a charge now, thanks in advance

Re: Gel Cell Battery swap
They were good until we got the Freezing weather , now don't seem to hold a charge very long.
nothing you can do for these guys as far as I can tell, they're sealed , my question is can I switch to regular batteries and still charge them with my current charger ? I'm thinking I will have to stay with Gel batteries b/c of the type charger I have. No one seems to know, still looking for answers , thanks and good luck On my old cart ,the regular batteries seemed to hold up better |

Re: Gel Cell Battery swap
FWIW my FLA batteries only get 10-20% of the warm weather range when it's freezing temperatures.

Re: Gel Cell Battery swap
I pulled one of the batteries which only showed 7 volts, all the others had 12 volts , hooked it up to a small charger and left it on 2 amps overnight, came up to 12 volts , then re installed it on the buggy and hooked up the cart charger again.
so far it's holding up |
