Default Motor choice for 91 Marathon Leaf Lithium

Ok, I believe I am ready for a new motor for my cart. I think I have talked to all the companies, so it's decision time...

Cart Specs:
1991 EZGO Marathon
7 cell Leaf Lithium pack @ 58.3VDC (max charge voltage)
Alltrax 48SR400
HD F&R
MZJ400A Solenoid
All new 2AWG welding cables
4" lift
22" off road tires
Will have back seat/utility bed (no major weight/work, I have a diesel tractor for that)
50/50 yard/street driving. Flat terrain
Currently runs 18-19mph, would like to hit 25-28 on street

Suggestions so far:
D&D - 170-013-001 - 8.5hp - $612 shipped
FSIP - told me they don't make series motors
Plum Quick - Demon - 16.7hp - $770 shipped
ScottyB - AMD7126 - 6.1hp (@36vdc) - $724 shipped
EMP - Not currently making golf cart motors, focusing on industrial vehicles currently

I was personally thinking about the PQ Hangman (13.5 HP $650 shipped) but when I emailed, Robby's response was that the Demon would be better. Obviously he has WAY more knowledge than me, but I reached back out for his thought process. The Demon is $120 more and should push me into the 30's which I'm not sure I need.

Thanks for any help or other suggestions!!

all of the motors are good ones.....considering the fact that you have upgraded to a higher voltage drive system....the real question boils down to how you use your cart and which is more important, speed or torque OR a combo of the 2....but considering some of the choices you showed, I think Speed is at the top of the list, lol PERSONALLY, I have the AMD 7126 RAPTOR, and I love it....I am running it in a 48v system and I top out at 30 mph....

Well, motor is ordered. I went with the Demon. Go big or go home I guess . 4-6 week lead time. I'll forget about it and it will be like Christmas when it shows up

I ordered a Demon and was told 4-6 weeks......it showed up at my door in 10 days. Maybe you will get lucky too. It has been an awesome motor so far. I believe you will love it.
