Default Knocking from rear axle

2008 Shuttle, makes the same noise when you drive it. Motor? Axle? I welcome your thoughts.

I had made a suggestion here but after watching your video I deleted it. Is it doing that on either wheel ? That looks like some sort of lost motion in the center drive. Could "possibly" be a busted up carrier bearing on one side of the ring gear, although that probably would have put some balls or pieces in the bottom of the pan which would probably be making other noises.

It does it on both sides. With both wheels in the air and with just one in the air. This leads me to believe it's the axle, not the motor.

First thing I would do is drop the pan off of it and make sure the carrier bearings aren't torn up. If that's it, not so big a fix. Also, once you can see the ring gear you'll get a better feel for where that lost motion is coming from.
