Default 81 Ezgo Marathon Brake Issue

So, I have this 81 Ezgo Marathon that I am restoring. One of the main things the cart is missing is the rear brake drums (both sides). I am having some difficulty procuring the correct brake drums. The parts schematic I have is showing a part number of C-13469-G1. I cannot for the life of me find brake drums with this part number. I am wondering if anyone knows of a compatible substitute and if I can replace the entire rear brake assembly with something from a newer cart. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone knows of anyone trying to off-load a newer rear end I am open to switching out the entire rear so I can upgrade to the parallel mounted motor for even more upgrade options.

Default Re: 81 Ezgo Marathon Brake Issue

I have a couple of old Marathon splined brake drums with the brake assemblies from an 86 Marathon disc brake conversion I did a long, long time ago.
Of course....I'll have to remember where they are though. And don't know for sure if they'd fit your 81. Is yours a 3 or 4 wheeler? I'll take a look for them if you think they would fit.

However, I do know I have a TXT electric rear end that I only remember I have when I trip over it getting around in the back part of the shop.
I'd love to get rid of it but I'd bet freight would be a killer as well as all the cutting/welding for spring perches, shock mounts, and cable guides as they would be different I'm all but certain.

Let me know if you want me to start digging around and brushing off cobwebs!
