Winter storage question
I have Trojan 8 volt batteries. The cart will sit during the winter( Dec through March). Should I leave the cart charger plugged in and in tow mode? Will the batteries be OK for three months with no charge?

Re: Winter storage question
You need to find out if your charger will cycle back on when needed. Most do NOT. Your batteries will discharge to damaging levels in a couple of months unless they are topped off regularly. My chargers all don't reset their charge cycle until you unplug them from the cart. If your charger won't top off then you can buy a trickle charger that will keep your batteries topped off. Well worth the $$. I used to keep a car at my winter and summer place and I put a "Battery Tender" on the car when I left it for months at a time. Also well worth the $$.
