Robins motor any good?
Looking at an EZGO MPT I think. It's a 2007 with a 11hp Robins motor.
Are these motors any good? Thanks in advance |

Not really, if you are looking for something to offroad you will prolly want more power... Clutch mods can help but she is what she is .... 11 hp

Re: Robins motor any good?
13-15 mph.
you can go shorter belt and 28 degree clutch and it would help, but your cart should already have that from the factory. they are great engines if you keep them serviced especially the airfilter. |

Re: Robins motor any good?
With a little governor tweaking this is a 20mph cart ... easily passing up most of the other stock carts A short belt and you will like the hill climbing power as long as your expectations are within the realm of what golf carts can do, generally speaking

Re: Robins motor any good?
One more question, I posted this in another topic as well.
I am looking at an MPT1000, that has the dump bed on the back. Can this be replaced with the standard EZGO flip seat kit? THANKS!!! |
