It would be fun to make it look like a 40s woody wagon.

well i started messing with the cart to see if i could get it to run.. and i did determine that the celinoid was bad, so i jumped over it to see if it would work then, and still no go. Im gettin about 32 volts because one of the batteries is going bad, but i figured i should at least get some movement. Its a resister cart with a wiper arm controller. so i got to poking around with the volt meter, and i fount that there is continuity between the wiper arm and all of the touch pads, even when its on its resting no go position. i also found voltage to all of the terminals on the motor, like something is shorted out somewhere or something.. so i decided to just connect the motor directly to the seriese batteries.. and i got some sparks, but no motor movement.. could the motor be bad??

Man that's a great cart. You can replace the electrical wear items pretty cheaply if you wanted to keep it an electric original. Good luck. Where did you find it? JH
