Default 91 3PG Complete Engine Rebuild Tips Wanted

Hey- First post here,

I am days from a complete rebuild of my engine;
so I'm looking for tips on assembly and where can I make performance gains? I have ordered the complete engine kit and have studied the shop manual.

A couple of things Im thinking-
Can I deck this head? What is the stock compression ratio? I'll run 93octane
Any port work possible?
I really don't want a loud cart, whats the hot setup on the exhaust?

Any specific pitfalls and tips much appreciated!
Thanks!
