94 ez go wont start

I am working on a 94 ezgo gas for my neighbor. They called me over and I figured it would be something simple with the engine but it is in the wiring which I know nothing about. They had it in the shop last season and it got a new solenoid. It sat out all winter and now nothing happens when you press the gas. The battery has 12.5v. I noticed there is a blown fuse going from the reverse switch to the solenoid? Is that a problem? Help me get started please.

You should be able to follow the accelerator cable to the micro switch. If it has been sitting up for awhile it could be your problem... Take a test light and check the two wires on the switch. One should be hot and the other should be hot when you mash the pedal. If you have no fire on when you mash the pedal you can lightly tap it to get it to make contact.. For safety remove the drive belt or put her in neutral...
