I notice you are looking for a motor, did you get this one spinning with battery and check compression?

We weren't able to get it spinning again. It flat out refused to budge. So I think it's in need of a lot of repair.

On another note I did find out the serial number and it's a 1986 G2.

keep in mind guys it's a 4stroke. when they run out of oil it ruins the crank and rod bearings and usually the crank itself along with scoring the cylinder and ruining the rings. you may get it running again but it probably won't last long, especially pulling a drag. just my 2 cents.

Yeah thats the reason I would just rather have another engine to put in. We are looking at possibly buying a used cart but are on a limited budget because we are a non-profit organizaton.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking about it being a thumper. I was thinking 2 stroke with "ill" mixed gas or straight gas. Jack up the spark plug cap and replace everything beneath

I'm in California. Not sure anyone would want any part of this cart!!! It's past its prime all the way around!

too far for me. chazdo2 has an engine from a G9 for sale, this may fit your cart.
