Default 89-93 2 cycle 3PG Perpendicular Diff question??

The driven clutch retaining bolt is broken off in the diff input shaft - and the bearings show some wear. The factory manual isn't exactly clear but it appears I need to remove the intermediate gear/ governor assy and the ring gear first to get input shaft out?

I have the manual.... Read it several times.... Looks like the last thing to come out is the input shaft. There are strict warnings about damaging the governor ..... My last worry as my 87 2PG has no governor. Can I pull the governor shaft out then pull the input shaft?? Thanks to all...

I have 24750-G1 89-93 2 Cycle service manual revised 4/92.
I still don't see how to remove the input shaft without pulling main gears, governor and governor shaft first. My 89 electric manual says to just pull circlip and pull out the input shaft as it has no governor stuff in the way.... When I try to gently tap out the input shaft by gripping the base with vice grips then gently pry it out it just stops. I scraped the bearing mount hole clean ..... Anyone????
