I used tape to quiet most of mine. I did go a bit obnoxious on one of them though. I removed the factory b/u beeper and installed a 95db backup alarm off a truck. There is absolutely no doubt when that one is in reverse.

It's on the shifter cable plate right under the front of the front seat...

Fixed mine with a piece of tape. You can still hear it, but it don't blister your ear drums. Now you know when it is in reverse, but you can still carrie on a conversation while backing up.

For a solution for the guys who hunt with their carts. Install a momentary off button next to the FNR, or on the floor (makes it easier to steer) and that way you can be safe and hold down the button to MOMENTARILY be silent.
